This morning members from our department, Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department, and Bay District Volunteer Fire Department met up at Chaptico Park in our first due for a morning of sportsmanship and brotherhood between the goal posts.

We typically work with these other departments only on emergency incidents and conducting training to prepare for those incidents. Today brought everyone together in a different way and it’s always great to work with our partners and continue to grow departmental relationships professionally and friendly.

We look forward to doing this again in the future. We also would like to thank St. Mary's County Recreation & Parks for allowing us to use one of the fields at a county park.
