On Monday during our weekly drill, several of our members gathered for a safety demo of the features we may find on various racing vehicles at our area tracks.

Two racing go karts were on display for the members so they could get hands on experience unlatching a regular latch and a cam lock latch, steering wheel removal, and body construction. The members also reviewed and discussed other safety features found in racing vehicles.
