On June 16th the department participated in the 112th Maryland State Fireman's Association Convention parade with Engine-21 and Engine-23. Chief Engineer Dennis Hooker (Engine-23) and Firefighter Dan Emmart (Engine-21) as well as several members made the long journey to the beach for the day. Engine-21 was awarded an Honorable Mention in the Pumper Making the Best Appearance 1250GPM and over category, which we are very proud of since the engine is 15 years old. It says a lot for the pride taken in our apparatus as it competed against numerous rigs, most were newer model years. Members worked hard for several hours in the morning preparing the apparatus for competition.

A special thanks goes out to everyone who pitched in and helped prepare the apparatus for the parade and to Chief Engineer Hooker and Firefighter Emmart for driving the apparatus to the parade.

Various pictures from the parade are added for your viewing pleasure.
