The Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department would like to take a moment to thank the following organizations for sending apparatus and personnel to cover Mechanicsville and the surrounding communities we protect the last 2 days while our department was involved with the funeral for Firefighter Brice Trossbach:

- Sharpsburg Volunteer Fire Company
- Grasonville Volunteer Fire Department
- Delmar Fire Department
- Ocean City Fire Department
- Union Fire Company No. 1 ~ Oxford, PA

These units traveled several hours each to cover any and all emergency incidents we were dispatched to and provided 23 personnel to protect Mechanicsville.

Also, we’d like to thank all the fire companies across the region that provided assistance to allow the entire county to attend the services and handle our incidents.

Also, we housed PGFD Truck 826, NDW Truck 20, and Quint 46 last night for them to assist the services.
