Engine and Brush Truck on Lumber Mill Fire

At 1314 hours, units were alerted mutual aid to Charles County to 5957 Brandywine Road, the Goad Lumber Company, in Hughesville for the building fire.

Engine 21 made the response initially and Brush 2 was alerted later into the incident. The incident went to two alarms before being brought under control. Over one hundred firefighters operated on the scene.

The saw mill and three trailers located on the property were heavily damaged as result of the blaze. No injuries were reported during the incident.

Units operated on the incident for over four hours.
