At 1800 hours members from Station 2 went to Company 29 for a training session with members of the Maryland State Police Aviation Division.
A slideshow presentation was conducted, which reviewed proper loading techniques, landing zone requirements, the Trauma Decision Tree and other essential information about the Maryland State Police Daughin model helicopters.
At approximately 1900 hours, Trooper 7 landed at Company 29 and members received further hands on review on loading techniques as well as information on battery and fuel shut off if an emergency were to occur during a medevac mission. Possible extrication techniques were also discussed if a crash landing were to occur.
