At 2218 hours, the assignment was sent to 37640 Asher Road for a chimney fire. This summoned units from Stations 2, 22, Charles 2, Truck Company 1 and EMS Station 29.

Chief 2B (Bellevou) arrived on the scene side "alpha" with a one story, single family on a basement with fire from the chimney.

Engine 23 arrived, laying out from the driveway and the crew advanced an attack line to the front door. Engine 224 arrived next and the crews split, with part going to the roof and the other going to Division 1 to check the attic. Charles Engine 22 arrived and went to the basement to clean out the fire box.

The assignment was scaled back to units from Stations 2 and Charles 2 along with the ambulance.

Fire Chief 2 (Raley) held the "Asher Road Command" and units operated for just over an hour.
