2022 Installation of Officers Banquet

The Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary held their annual Installation of Officers Banquet on Saturday, January 15, 2022. The evening kicked off with photos, installation of the Auxiliary, Administrative and Operational Officers followed by awards and a wonderful dinner catered by Rita B Catering. Music was provided by Elite Beatz Entertainment LLC.

Outgoing Auxiliary President Cindy Turner presented years of service awards to Deloris Ellis 25 years and Molly Colonna 15 years. Debbie DePriest was the recipient of the Mary Elaine Guy Award and Keith Turner was the recipient of the Auxiliary President's Award. Cindy Turner received a plaque, past president's pin and a gift from Incoming Auxiliary President Karen Montgomery. Outgoing President, Cindy Turner presented the President and Chief with a check for $50,000 from the Auxiliary.

President John "Monkey" Montgomery presented years of service awards to the following: Mark Turner 5 years, Bret Krabbe 15 years, Andrew McHone 15 years, Tyler Raley 15 years, Robert Barnes 20 years/life membership, Ronnie Cox, 20 years/life membership, Darene Kleinsorgen 20 years/life membership, Benjamin Woodill 20 years/life membership and Robert "Bobby" Johnson 55 years.

Chief Mark Trowbridge and Assistant Chief John "TBone" Raley presented Life Save Awards to Austin Sholly, Brian Butler, Craig Polk, Joseph "Jake" Senatore and Tyler Burroughs. Both Chiefs also presented the Richard S. "Stormie" Combs Award to Evan Stewart and Rookie of the Year Award to Riley Barnes. Gifts were also given to the Top Responders: Austin Sholly, Mark Trowbridge, Craig Polk, Evan Stewart, Brian Butler, Jimmy Barnes, Jr., Tyler Burroughs, Ronnie Cox, Robert Barnes, and Ryan Raley. Top Drivers were Brian Butler, Tyler Burroughs, Jimmy Barnes, Jr., Keith Hemming and Kyle Hayden.
