Just before 1300 hours Monday, Engine 2 and Tanker 2 were alerted to 21468 Abell Road for a reported garage fire. Safety 5 marked up moments later advising he had a 30' x 50' garage well-off with two automobiles inside.

With Engine 23 and Tanker 2 already on the way, Chief 5A arrived and established the command, requesting three additional tankers on the box. Tanker 24 responded after the request.

Engine 52 arrived first and led off with a 2.5" handline to knock the bulk of the fire. The next incoming units assisted with fire attack.

Tanker 2 and Tanker 24 arrived in staging, with Tanker 2 eventually proceeding to the scene for water.

Engine 23 operated with Company 5 units, Tanker 14, and Truck 7 with overhaul for a little over an hour.
