At 1800 hours, members took part in the apparatus checks followed by the weekly training, which was setting up a rigging system safely.
Members were instructed to build a rigging system consisting of a 3:1 pulley, a belay line, a tension-less hitch, and be able to safely secure a patient inside a stokes basket.
Afterwards, Captain Krabbe went over the whole system to explain how everything is put together and the job task for the people operating each line. |
